Are you a Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about helping children find their voice and communicate with confidence? We’re working with a supportive and well‑resourced SEN school looking for a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in specialist education and enjoys supporting pupils with autism, speech and language delays, SEMH needs, and complex communication profiles to access learning and everyday interactions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assessing pupils with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
- Delivering individual and group therapy sessions tailored to EHCP outcomes
- Creating communication strategies, visual supports, and intervention plans
- Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff, therapists, and families
- Supporting staff with training and classroom strategies to enhance communication
- Contributing to EHCP reviews, reports, and progress monitoring
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or paediatric setting)
- Knowledge of AAC, social communication strategies, and language development
- A patient, creative, and child‑centred approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
