We’re working with a welcoming, well-led secondary school in Leeds that’s looking for a passionate English Teacher to join their team. This is a department where discussion is encouraged, ideas are shared and lessons are designed to spark curiosity, creativity and a real love of language.
What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering engaging English lessons across language and literature
- Helping students develop confidence in reading, writing and spoken expression
- Planning creative, inclusive lessons that bring texts and ideas to life
- Working collaboratively within a supportive English department
- Contributing to a positive school culture where students feel motivated and heard
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified English Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine love of language and literature
- A calm, confident classroom presence with a warm, consistent approach

- ECTs and experienced teachers are both very welcome
