We’re looking for a warm, confident and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming nursery in Loughton on a permanent basis who loves to inspirelittle minds while bringing out the best in your team?
You’ll lead a room filled with big imaginations, exciting discoveries and plenty of laughter.
From supporting children’s first friendships to helping your team create magical learning experiences, you’ll play a key role in making every day special.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading, motivating and supporting your room team
- Creating engaging learning experiences through play
- Ensuring every child feels happy, safe and valued
- Planning activities and monitoring children’s progress in line with the EYFS
- Building trusted relationships with parents and carers
- Supporting key-person responsibilities and daily care routines
- Maintaining excellent safeguarding, hygiene and safety standards
- Helping your room—and the people within it—thrive

What you’ll need
- A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Previous experience in a senior nursery or Room Leader position
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- A confident, caring and positive leadership style
- The right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one
