Some children need a little extra support to thrive. Could you be the person who helps them get there? We're working with a welcoming primary school in Epping Forest that is looking for a caring and motivated SEND Intervention Mentor to support pupils who require additional academic, social and emotional support. This role would suit someone who enjoys building positive relationships, celebrating small wins and helping children develop confidence both in and out of the classroom.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy and social skills
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and additional learning needs
- Helping children remain engaged and focused during lessons
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and families
- Promoting confidence, independence and positive behaviour
