Looking for a role where you can make a difference from day one? We are working with a number of friendly and well‑established nursery settings across Epping Forest who are seeking passionate Early Years Practitioners to join their teams. This is an exciting opportunity to support children during the most important stage of their development, helping them build confidence, curiosity and a love of learning through engaging play‑based experiences. Many of our settings also support children with additional needs, making this a fantastic opportunity for practitioners who are passionate about inclusive education and early intervention.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children aged 0–5 years with their learning and development
  • Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment
  • Supporting children's personal care and wellbeing needs
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
  • Supporting children with SEND, including Autism, speech and language needs, and social and emotional development
  • Working alongside SENCOs and nursery leaders to implement individual support strategies
  • Observing, monitoring and recording children's progress

What We're Looking For:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred but not essential for experienced candidates)
  • Previous experience within a nursery, preschool or childcare setting
  • Experience supporting children with SEND or a willingness to develop SEND knowledge
  • A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for Early Years education and inclusion
