We are working closely with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Lewisham, who are seeking committed Teaching Assistants to join their teams for the new academic year. The Role:
- We are recruiting Teaching Assistants for long-term positions across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
- Roles may involve general classroom support or working 1:1 with pupils who require additional assistance.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the class teacher with daily learning activities
- Working with small groups or individual pupils
- Assisting children with additional needs (including SEN)
- Helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment
- Supporting behaviour management and pupil wellbeing
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children (school experience preferred)
- A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential
