Protocol Education are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a range of welcoming Primary Schools in Haringey from September. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Whether you have experience working with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, SEMH, or other additional needs, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting the class Teacher with learning activities and interventions
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping pupils access the curriculum and achieve their individual targets
  • Working collaboratively with Teachers, SENCOs and other professionals

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
