You’re the steady hand, the gentle nudge, the one who makes school work for children who need it most. If that sounds like you, we’ve got a fantastic SEND TA role starting this September at a warm and welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Haringey. They’re looking for someone calm, kind, and quietly confident to support a pupil with additional needs (think autism and sensory regulation) on a 1:1 basis. It’s a school where support staff are part of the heartbeat—and where your experience will be genuinely valued.
Your role will include:
- Daily 1:1 support to help the pupil access learning and routines
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Supporting emotional regulation and confidence
- Helping create a safe, consistent learning space
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with SEND (either in schools or care settings)
- A patient, proactive approach
