We're working with a Jewish Specialist Setting in Hackney that's searching for an experienced SEND Teacher to join their warm and dedicated team in September 2026. You'll be teaching pupils with additional needs, helping them develop early literacy, numeracy, life skills and confidence through personalised learning tailored to each child's individual goals.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging, adapted lessons
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional and life skills development
- Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families
- Creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive
- Monitoring progress and contributing to individual support plans
Qualifications
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has at least 3 years' experience working with children with SEND
- Has experience teaching early literacy and numeracy
- Is compassionate, adaptable and committed to making a difference
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
