Are you an experienced SEND Support Assistant looking for flexible work in local primary schools? Protocol Education is recruiting reliable and compassionate SEND Support Staff to work on a daily supply basis across a range of welcoming primary schools in Haringey. This role is ideal for experienced support staff who enjoy variety while maintaining a flexible work schedule. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week.
You will support children with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, SEMH and complex learning needs. This may include 1:1 support, small group interventions, classroom support and intimate care where required.
The Role- Daily supply work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Support pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Deliver 1:1, small group or classroom support
- Follow EHCP targets and school behaviour policies
- Intimate care may be required
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND in a school or similar setting
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour
