Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs and looking for a truly rewarding role? Protocol Education is currently recruiting a SEND Classroom Support Worker to join a specialist school in Havering. This full-time position involves working closely with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including MLD, SLD, ASD, and PMLD. You will support students to access learning, develop independence, and feel safe, included, and supported throughout the school day.
We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, including healthcare, social care, residential support, or those with personal experience supporting individuals with SEND. Previous school experience is not essential, as the school values empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude. You should also be comfortable assisting with personal care where required.
Role Details
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- Long-term position with the possibility of becoming permanent
- Based in Havering
