If you're a Psychology graduate who's curious about a future in Educational or Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or simply want to gain hands‐on experience supporting young people, this one's for you.

We're on the lookout for kind, thoughtful graduates who are ready to support pupils with additional needs across schools in Wiltshire. You don't need bags of experience, just the right mindset, a bit of patience, and a genuine interest in SEN (Special Educational Needs). Think autism support, emotional regulation, sensory needs, and a whole lot of 1:1 encouragement.

We have roles starting right away, or can look for roles for September 2026.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting students with ASD, SEMH or PMLD across the school day
  • Helping out with interventions and small group work
  • Being that consistent, calm adult they know they can rely on
  • Working alongside teaching and support staff to create a positive, structured environment

What We're Looking For:

  • A Psychology degree (or relevant field)
  • A calm, flexible approach. No two days are the same
  • Bonus points if you've worked with children or adults with SEND, but not essential
  • A genuine interest in helping young people thrive

What You'll Get from Us:

  • Weekly pay (PAYE—no umbrella company nonsense)
  • A dedicated consultant who actually picks up the phone
  • FREE access to in‐person CPD and Thrive training (trust us, it's a game‐changer for SEN roles)
  • Your own online availability lounge to keep things flexible

We believe in people, not perfect CVs. If you're compassionate, committed, and curious about SEND—you're halfway there.

Ready to put that Psychology degree to powerful use? Apply now via this ad or head over to our website.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education', this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
