We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive early years setting in Barking & Dagenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A full and relevant Level 2 qualification (or above) in Early Years (essential)
- Experience working within an early years setting as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child protection procedures
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences
Responsibilities:
- Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
- Assisting with planning and engaging activities in line with EYFS
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Supporting the nursery team with daily routines and activities
