Are you a passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking to make a real difference in an inclusive nursery environment? Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and nurturing nursery in Elephant & Castle to recruit a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2026. This rewarding role will involve providing consistent support for two children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to access learning, develop communication, and thrive within the nursery environment.

The Role

  • Provide tailored support for two children with additional needs.
  • Work closely with the SENCO, nursery staff and families to implement personalised support strategies.
  • Encourage communication, independence and positive social interactions.
  • Create a calm, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
  • Promote inclusion, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
  • Has previous experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Experience supporting non-verbal children is highly desirable.
  • Patient, caring and able to build trusting relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and inclusive practice.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
