About the Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing during their early years. Responsibilities may include:
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children's learning through play and planned activities
- Promoting children's social, emotional and physical development
- Observing, assessing and recording children's progress
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Supporting daily routines including meal times, outdoor play and personal care where required
- Ensuring safeguarding and welfare requirements are always met
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
- Have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Be caring, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high-quality childcare
- Be able to work effectively as part of a team
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
- Be able to provide references covering recent childcare or early years experience
