Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are working with a fantastic SEN school in the Upminster area that is looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join their supportive team from September.

The school has a strong focus on developing pupils' functional communication skills and emotional regulation, ensuring every child is ready to learn and achieve their full potential. Staff work closely with pupils to meet their individual sensory integration needs, using a wide range of evidence-based strategies to support learning, wellbeing, and independence.

You will be part of a collaborative and nurturing environment, working alongside experienced teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide a holistic approach to each pupil's development.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Be patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Have a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning
