Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant ready to make a big difference in one childâs life?
Weâre looking for a compassionate, proactive and dedicated TA to support a child with specific medical needs in a caring, inclusive school environment. This is a highly rewarding role where every day countsâand where your work will have a direct impact on a pupilâs wellbeing, learning, and confidence.
What youâll be doing:
Working closely with the SENCo and Learning Provision Manager, you\âll help create and deliver personalised support, assist with medical care (with full training provided), and champion the child\âs learning and development throughout the school day.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering tailored learning activities and differentiated support
- Contributing to planning and evaluating interventions
- Supporting progress tracking, student profiles, and feedback to parents
- Encouraging independence, wellbeing, and inclusion
- Liaising with external professionals, attending planning meetings, and ensuring communication flows smoothly
- Supporting educational visits, personal care routines, and contributing to First Aid provision (training provided)
- Assisting with assessments and exams as a scribe, reader, or prompt as needed
Youâll need:
- A recognised Level 3 TA qualification
- Experience working with children with additional needs (including medical care desirable)
- A nurturing, patient approach and strong communication skills
- A willingness to work collaboratively with professionals and parents
- A readiness to contribute to the wider life of the school community
