Are you a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Sunderland? We are currently recruiting dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support children across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 in a variety of primary and SEND school settings. This is an excellent opportunity to join supportive schools where every day is different, and your contribution truly makes a difference.
The Role:
- Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with additional needs.
- Assist class teachers in planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
- Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Support pupils with personal care where required (training provided).
You Will Need:
- A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting.
- A caring, resilient and proactive approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
