Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant – Wolverhampton
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £90 – £100 per day
Start Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering personalised and engaging learning activities
  • Help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment
  • Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
  • Adapt resources and approaches to suit individual learning needs
  • Monitor and record student progress, feeding back to teaching staff
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external professionals
  • Uphold safeguarding practices and promote pupil wellbeing at all times

About You:

  • Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in an SEND setting is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong relationships with pupils
  • Flexible and confident in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities within a school setting
