What the role involves:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support across Primary and/or Secondary phases
  • Using de-escalation, regulation, and therapeutic approaches to support emotional wellbeing
  • Helping pupils develop communication, independence, and life skills
  • Collaborating with the wider support team to ensure consistent care and learning strategies

You’ll need:

  • A Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND (ASD, SEMH, PMLD, or complex needs)
  • Confidence using communication systems (e.g. PECS, Makaton) and sensory strategies
  • A calm, empathetic approach with strong behaviour support skills
