Every child deserves the right support to succeed. We're recruiting experienced Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to work within specialist provisions and mainstream resource bases across South Shields. You'll support pupils with Autism (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), speech and language needs and other additional needs.
Full-time September start, Monday-Friday.
Role Details- Working hours: 8:30am-3:30pm to 4:30pm
- Term-time only
- Long-term role with permanent potential
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Delivering interventions and structured activities
- Supporting communication and emotional regulation
- Working alongside teachers, therapists and SENCOs
- Helping pupils develop independence and confidence
- Level 3 TA qualification
- Previous SEND experience desirable
