We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. If you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years and have a strong commitment to supporting children's development, we want to hear from you! Experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring that all children engage in a range of exciting and developmentally appropriate activities.
- Work closely with the Nursery Teacher to provide both individual and group support for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Promote the emotional, social, and intellectual development of children through engaging play and learning experiences.
- Assist with planning, organizing, and maintaining learning resources and activities.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Support children with additional learning needs (SEN) as required, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Help with the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the setting remains clean, safe, and conducive to learning.
Key Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Passionate about working with children and providing a nurturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player who can collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents.
- Patience, flexibility, and a caring approach.
- Knowledge and experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage, though not essential.
