We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PE Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Leeds area. The Role
- Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Promote participation, resilience, teamwork, and personal development
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, fixtures, and sporting events where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for sport, physical wellbeing, and student development
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Desirable Experience:
- Experience teaching GCSE PE
- Ability to deliver a range of sports and physical activities
- Experience supporting school sports teams and extracurricular clubs
- Knowledge of health, fitness, and wellbeing programmes
- Thrive training or a willingness to undertake further professional development
