About the Role
We're looking for a confident Nursery Lead (Room Leader) to take ownership of a room and support the wider nursery team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner ready to step up and lead with clarity and consistency. You'll set the tone - supporting your team, ensuring high standards, and creating an environment where both children and staff thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading a room and supporting day-to-day operations
- Planning and delivering high-quality learning in line with EYFS
- Coaching and supporting practitioners in your team
- Monitoring children's development and ensuring accurate records
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards are met
- Supporting the nursery management team with continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
- Proven experience in a nursery setting (senior/practitioner level)
- Confidence leading a team and setting expectations
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS
- Organised, proactive, and solution-focused
