Learning Support (Resource Base)

The role:

You’ll be supporting pupils within the specialist resource base, working closely with teachers and the wider team to help children access learning in a way that works for them. Your day-to-day will include:

• Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups.
• Helping pupils engage with learning through adapted and personalised approaches.
• Using strategies to support communication, including working with non-verbal learners.
• Encouraging social interaction, independence, and confidence.
• Contributing to a calm, structured, and positive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals.

The details:

• Role: Learning Support Assistant, Specialist Resource Base.
• Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (39 weeks).
• Pay: From £14.30 per hour, PAYE.
• Start Date: April 2026.
