The role:
You’ll be supporting pupils within the specialist resource base, working closely with teachers and the wider team to help children access learning in a way that works for them. Your day-to-day will include:
- Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups.
- Helping pupils engage with learning through adapted and personalised approaches.
- Using strategies to support communication, including working with non-verbal learners.
- Encouraging social interaction, independence, and confidence.
- Contributing to a calm, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals.
