Your care experience could change a child’s experience of school.
If you have worked in social care, children’s residential care, supported accommodation, youth work or a similar setting, you already possess many of the skills schools need.
We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants for schools in and around Ongar.
You will support children who may have additional learning needs, Autism, ADHD, challenging behaviour or social and emotional needs.

Your responsibilities could include supporting children in lessons, helping them regulate their emotions, delivering one-to-one interventions and encouraging positive relationships with their classmates.
Previous school experience is helpful but not essential.
We are particularly interested in hearing from children’s residential care workers, social-care professionals, family support workers, youth workers and support workers who would like to move into education.
Roles are available during school hours, Monday to Friday and term time only.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
