A specialist SEN school in Sunderland is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition, communication needs and sensory sensitivities. The school places a strong emphasis on structured learning, communication development and emotional regulation, creating a safe and predictable environment for pupils.
Location: Sunderland
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Daily Routine:
- 8:30am staff start
- Structured lessons with small class sizes
- Sensory breaks and communication sessions
- Supervised social times
- 4:30pm finish with debrief and planning
The Role:
- Supporting pupils during lessons

Experience Requirements:
