A progressive school in Enfield is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with KS2 children with SEMH and ASD needs. This position starts in September 2025 and runs until July 2026. You will work 1:1 and with small groups of children under the guidance of the Class Teacher. The school is rated ‘good’ by Ofsted and aims to become ‘outstanding’. The children are friendly and eager to learn, and the staff are very supportive. The school is a 3-form entry with excellent classroom facilities and a large playing field. Free parking is available around the school. Pay starts from £90 per day.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least one year\’s experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • An interest in supporting children with SEMH and ASD needs
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • A good understanding of behaviour strategies
  • Ideally, an NVQ Level 3 in Teaching Assistance or equivalent qualification
