SEN Teaching Assistant

We're working with a school in Bristol who are preparing for the new academic year and they're on the lookout for a SEN Teaching Assistant.

If you enjoy helping children learn, build confidence and succeed, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your responsbilities will include

  • Delivering small group interventions
  • Supporting children with their learning and development
  • Assisting the class teacher to bring lessons to life
  • Confidentlty managing behaviour
  • Supporting children with additional needs

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience in a school setting
  • Some experience with SEN/ behaviour management, or an interest in developing your skills
  • A team player, willing to build relationships with pupils and staff
  • A calm, patient and supporting approach to learning
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to get one hy work with Protocol Education?
  • Competitive weekly PAYE pay
