We're looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Class Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the BS4 area.
This is a morning role, working 8:45am to 12:30pm, supporting teaching and learning across the classroom. There may also be opportunities for additional afternoon hours where extra support is needed for an individual child.
You’ll work closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment, helping pupils stay focused, build confidence and make progress throughout the school day. Whether you're supporting small group activities, assisting individual pupils or helping the wider class, your contribution will make a real difference.

Working Hours
8:45am to 12:30pm, Monday to Friday
Potential for additional afternoon hours when required to support a child.
A bit about you
- Experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting is desirable
- Comfortable supporting children across the primary age range
- Patient, calm and encouraging in your approach
- Friendly, approachable and reliable
- Able to work as part of a team and use your initiative
- Understanding of children's individual needs, including SEND, is beneficial

- Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
- Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence, utility bill, council tax bill or P45/P60
- CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained
- Two years of references, including childcare references where applicable
- Overseas Police Check if you've lived overseas for three months or more within the last five years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
