The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging, tailored lessons to students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties. You will play a key role in creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs.
- Support students in achieving their EHCP targets.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external agencies.
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
- Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience working with children with SEN, either in mainstream or specialist settings
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
- Commitment to helping all pupils succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
