Protocol Education are currently recruiting learning support assistants to work with post 16 students with special needs. This post 16 college is looking for experienced, passionate and caring learning support assistants to start immediately or from September. This particular school caters for students aged 16 - 25 years old with varying levels of special needs that include visual/hearing impairments, autism, physical disabilities and complex needs.
As an education support worker, you will be working in a set class of 6 – 8 students, supporting students on a one-to-one basis, promoting a positive learning experience, assisting with sensory integration, working alongside designated care plans, and supporting students within the community and in lessons such as music, art, dance, and outdoor activities such as the sensory garden.
The role:
- Full time role – Monday to Thursday
- Yearlong contract with the option of extending
- Working one to one with students with complex needs
