Protocol Education is partnering with a welcoming primary school in the BS31 area to recruit a caring, dependable and fully qualified Year 2 Teacher to join their team from November. Year 2 is a pivotal stage in a child's primary education. As pupils prepare for the transition into Key Stage 2, they need a teacher who can provide the perfect balance of encouragement, challenge and consistency.

In this role, you'll deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Year 2 curriculum, supporting pupils as they strengthen their reading fluency, develop their writing skills and deepen their mathematical understanding. You'll create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel supported to take risks, ask questions and celebrate their achievements. A Bit About You

  • Fully qualified teacher (QTS) with experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2
  • Confident delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
  • Calm, patient and nurturing, with strong classroom management skills
  • Skilled at building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Able to differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND
  • Passionate about supporting children's academic, social and emotional development
  • Committed to creating a positive, inclusive and inspiring learning environment

What We Need To Clear You

  • Passport / proof of right to work in the UK
  • Two proofs of address (for example, driving licence, utility bill, council tax bill or P45/P60)
  • CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained
  • Two years of references, including childcare references where applicable
  • Overseas Police Check if you have lived abroad for three months or more during the last five years
