We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist provision. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, creating a safe, structured and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching a primary SEN class with learning adapted to individual needs
- Planning lessons that focus on engagement, routine and achievable progress
- Supporting emotional regulation and promoting positive behaviour
- Working collaboratively with TAs, therapists and the SENCO
- Creating a safe, predictable and nurturing classroom environment
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers and external professionals
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
- Experience working with SEND or in specialist/inclusive settings
- Strong understanding of behaviour, regulation and differentiation
