We're working with two welcoming and well-established schools in South London who are looking for an experienced IT Technician to support their technology infrastructure across both sites. One school is based in Eltham and the other in Tooting, so we're looking for someone who's happy to split their time between the two locations. Both sites benefit from excellent public transport links, making travel straightforward, although a driver would be a real bonus.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering excellent support, and wants to play a key role in helping staff and pupils get the very best from their technology.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing first and second-line IT support to staff and students
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
- Supporting Windows devices, Microsoft 365 and school-based systems
- Managing user accounts, permissions and security settings
- Installing, configuring and maintaining IT equipment
- Supporting classroom technology, interactive displays and AV equipment
- Assisting with network maintenance and system upgrades
- Working closely with school leaders and staff to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations
- Travelling between both school sites as required
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an IT support or IT Technician role
- Has strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Can diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organised, proactive and able to manage their workload independently
- Enjoys working with people and building positive relationships
- Is happy to work across both the Eltham and Tooting sites
- Holds a driving licence and has access to a vehicle (desirable, but not essential)
