We're working with a number of welcoming secondary schools across Newham looking for School Administrators to join their teams. Whether you've worked in a school before or have transferable administration experience from another sector, this could be a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in education.

From supporting parents and visitors at reception to keeping school records up to date, you'll be at the heart of the school community, helping staff and students have the best possible day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing incoming calls, emails, and visitor enquiries
  • Providing a warm and professional welcome at reception
  • Maintaining student records and school databases
  • Supporting attendance, admissions, and safeguarding administration
  • Assisting with general office duties and school communications
  • Working closely with senior leaders, teachers, and support staff

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous administration or office experience
  • Is confident using Microsoft Office and school systems (SIMS experience is very beneficial but not essential)
  • Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Communicates confidently with staff, parents, and visitors
  • Can prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a team
