Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We're working with secondary schools across Kirklees who are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to step into classrooms and keep learning on track when teachers are absent. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced education professionals, or anyone with strong classroom management skills who enjoys working with young people.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Ensure students stay engaged and focused on their work
- Provide support and guidance where needed
- Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, youth work or similar setting
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Confidence leading a classroom independently
- A flexible and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting students and their learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
