Salary:£119 per day- More depending on HR experience.
Contract: 5 days per week

We’re on the lookout for a brilliant HR Administrative Assistant to join a busy school office team. If you\’re organised, unflappable, and have a knack for juggling calendars, systems, and people—all before the first bell rings—this could be your perfect next role.

What you’ll be doing:

Logging absences, special leave, and claims in the LCC payroll system (you’ll be the go-to for making sure the data adds up!)
Supporting the recruitment process—from interview invites to chasing down references
Preparing induction packs so new staff feel welcome before they even step through the door
Printing supply cover sheets and making sure cover staff are properly briefed
Managing room bookings and last-minute changes with calm efficiency
Picking up phone and staff messages (you’ll be the friendly voice at the other end)
Prepping papers and packs for HR hearings—accuracy and confidentiality are key here

What you’ll need:

Previous admin experience (ideally in a school or HR setting)
Confidence with systems and a love of detail
A warm, professional manner—calm under pressure and clear with communication
A good understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and what it means to support a team behind the scenes
