SEN Teaching Assistant Required in Horley

We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Horley. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who require additional support to achieve their full potential.

The Role

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
  • Support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupil independence and confidence.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff to support individual learning plans.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an educational or SEN setting.
  • Is patient, compassionate, and resilient.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is passionate about supporting young people to succeed.
  • Can build strong and positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
