We’re looking for a passionate History teacher to inspire curious minds from KS3 through to A-Level in a vibrant Hackney secondary school. If you love bringing the past to life and helping students think critically about the world around them, this could be your perfect match.

Your role:

  • Teach History across KS3, KS4, and KS5
  • Deliver lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire students
  • Support students’ exam preparation (GCSE and A-Level)

  • Contribute to department planning and extracurricular activities

You should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching History at secondary level, including exam classes
  • A dynamic and creative approach to lesson delivery
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to inspire students
  • Enthusiasm for supporting students to achieve their full potential
