We are working with a fantastic secondary school in Bradford looking for a permanent History Teacher. The role offers a supportive environment, strong behaviour systems, CPD and career progression opportunities, ECT-friendly mentoring and structured support, and the chance to teach A-Level History.

The role

  • Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that bring the past to life
  • Encouraging students to think critically, ask questions, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them
  • Supporting students to achieve their full potential

What we're looking for

  • UK QTS or currently completing teacher training
  • A genuine passion for History and helping young people succeed
  • Strong classroom presence and positive relationship‑building skills
  • The ability to make historical events, people and themes engaging and accessible
  • ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply
