Teacher of History (Permanent) Secondary School β Redbridge
Start Date: April/September 2026 (or earlier by negotiation)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London), dependent on experience
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and knowledgeable Teacher of History to join our successful Humanities faculty at a thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or an experienced teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality History lessons and inspiring a love of the subject in young people.
The Role
- Teach History across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available for suitable candidates)
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-sequenced lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking
- Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment
- Contribute positively to the Humanities department and wider school community
- Support students of all abilities to achieve strong outcomes
