History Teacher – Full-Time | Hartlepool | £170–£250 per day (paid to scale)

Do you believe history should be more than just dates and dusty textbooks? We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Hartlepool that’s looking for a passionate History Teacher to join their team from September.

The school has a strong humanities department, supportive leadership, and students who thrive on engaging, thought-provoking lessons.

Your Role:

  • Teaching History across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience

  • Delivering lessons that bring the past to life—whether it’s the Tudors, the Cold War, or local history

  • Supporting students of all abilities, ensuring lessons are accessible, challenging, and inspiring

  • Preparing students for GCSE exams with confidence and clarity

  • Working collaboratively with the humanities team to share resources and ideas
