We are looking for a resilient, confident and engaging Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in South Tyneside. This is a general Teaching Assistant role, supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups. However, the successful candidate must be particularly strong in managing behaviour, de-escalating situations and building positive relationships with students who may present additional challenges.
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting.
- Is confident supporting students with behavioural needs.
- Can remain calm, professional and consistent when faced with challenging situations.
