SEN Teaching Assistant – Hatfield
Full-time | September start | Competitive daily rate

Protocol Education are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Hatfield.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping every pupil access learning and thrive in the classroom.

The role includes:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN
  • Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and social development
  • Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies
  • Helping to create a calm, inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils' confidence, independence and wellbeing
  • Assisting with classroom activities and day-to-day learning

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting
  • Is patient, empathetic and nurturing
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils
  • Is committed to inclusive education
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
