We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our thriving and inclusive primary school in Harrow from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant or existing HLTA who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers across the school, lead lessons when required, and provide targeted support to pupils to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Lead small group interventions to accelerate pupil progress.
- Assist with planning, preparation and assessment activities.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.

- Holds HLTA status or has equivalent experience.
- Has excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
