Looking for a job that means something? One where you’re part of a team, make real connections, and help young people shine—on good days and wobbly ones? We’re working with a brilliant specialist school in Harrogate that supports pupils with Autism and other complex needs. They’re after kind, patient, roll-up-your-sleeves types to join their classroom teams. Class sizes are small (6–9 learners), and there’s loads of support from experienced teachers, behaviour teams, and family support staff.

Whether you’ve done this kind of work before or you’re brand new and up for learning, this could be just the thing.

The role? It’s all about:

  • Supporting amazing pupils (primary and secondary)
  • Being in the classroom, side-by-side with a great teacher
  • Helping kids learn, grow, and feel safe and seen
  • Pitching in with classroom prep and resources

What we’re after:

  • A calm, caring, and positive person who’s happy to muck in
  • Someone who can handle a bit of unpredictability with a smile
  • A clear DBS (or happy to get one)
  • No SEND experience? No worries—we’ll support you

What you’ll get:

  • Friendly, down-to-earth team who’ve got your back
  • Proper training and the chance to grow your skills
  • A school full of big-hearted staff and unforgettable pupils

If this sounds like a bit of you, pop over your CV and a quick message. I’ll give you a bell to talk through the role (and others if you’re curious!). This could be the job that makes Mondays feel less... Monday-ish.
