Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harlow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. You will work closely with pupils across EYFS and KS1 who require additional support with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation.
Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD and speech & language needs
- Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO
- Encouraging engagement and independence
- Implementing behaviour and learning support strategies
We are looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
- A patient, nurturing and positive approach
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
