We are working with a fantastic specialist school in Harlow that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEND Teacher with QTS to join their team from September.

This school is committed to providing a supportive and personalised education for pupils with a range of SEND needs. With a strong focus on individual progress, communication, independence, and confidence building, the school ensures every pupil has access to learning opportunities that are tailored to their strengths and needs.

As a SEND Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, monitor pupil progress, and work alongside support staff and external professionals to provide high‑quality education and care.

Ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Have experience teaching pupils with SEND, complex needs, or within a specialist school environment
• Be skilled at adapting curriculum content to support individual learning needs
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be caring, patient, and committed to supporting pupil development
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
