Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education and helping them achieve their full potential? Protocol Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools in Halifax. We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on students' learning and development.
The Role
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis to support learning
- Assist students with additional learning needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Provide pastoral support where required
The Ideal Candidate
- Have experience working with young people in schools, education, sports coaching, youth work, care, or mentoring roles
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Are patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic
- Hold a degree or relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Have a genuine passion for supporting secondary-aged students
